"So now I am a Doctor", she thought leaving the stuffy room were her defense took place.
Then of course the question is "What now?" Supposedly she is among the elite.
But what does elite mean? She asked herself.
Four people are convinced she should publish a book soon and maybe she will ultimately do.
But now what? And who are these four persons? And what a publication of an obscure book on an obscure topic will bring? To whom?
Somehow even if she knew being doctor wouldn't change much in her day to day life, it was only postponing the terrible job hunt and the unemployed status, deep deep inside she wished the work Djinn would knock at her door and say: "Hey Miss Doctor, here is this position at this good university please fill out the blanks where it says "expected salary" and "beginning date" and let's go."
Of course the problem and she realized that was a key problem, she moved so much during the past months the Djinn probably got lost on the way to her home...
Also, if she had a hard time to define it, how could she expect the Djinn to know...
So maybe she should only go back "home"and the Djinn would be waiting for her.
She looked at the sky, grey promise of a rainy afternoon, she sight, opened her agenda and wrote down in the space she reserved for urgent things to do: 1) DEFINE HOME 2) FIND HOME.
And made her way to the closet MTR station.
